Announcement. Charity run “Sich Brotherhood” in support of the 32nd Brigade

Regulations for the charity run “Sich Brotherhood 2025”
1. Date, time, and venue.
Date: July 26, 2025.
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Venue: Kyiv, 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Hippodrome.
Start and finish line: Kyiv, 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Hippodrome.
2. Purpose of the Run.
The Sich Brotherhood 2025 Run (hereinafter referred to as the Run) is held with the aim of raising funds for the purchase of fuel and lubricants for the 32nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as:
- promoting and propagating a healthy lifestyle and the development of mass sports;
- to promote charitable events in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
3. Organizers of the Run.
The organizer of the Run is the Kozatsky Charitable Foundation, EDRPOU code 44828651.
The organizing committee of the Run consists of members of the Kozatsky Charitable Foundation.
4. Conditions of the Run.
The Run will take place under the legal regime of martial law. If an air raid siren is sounded at the start of any of the Run distances, the organizers will stop the run until the all-clear is given.
5. Run program.
July 24-25, 2025
10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. - distribution of starter packs.
Starter packs will not be distributed on the day of the competition.
The location for the distribution of starter packs will be announced separately.
July 26, 2025
08:00 - Opening of the run venue, 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Hippodrome
08:00 - 13:00 - Luggage storage
09:30 - Warm-up for participants in the 3.2 km run
09:55 - Opening of the starting corridor for the 3.2 km distance
10:00 - Start of the 3.2 km distance
11:05 - Awarding of winners of the 3.2 km distance
11:10 - Warm-up for participants of the 1.6 km distance
11:25 - Opening of the starting corridor for the 1.6 km distance
11:30 - Start of the 1.6 km distance
12:05 - Awarding of winners of the 1.6 km distance
12:10 - Warm-up for participants of the 420 m distance
12:25 - Opening of the starting corridor for the 420 m distance
12:30 - Start of the 420 m distance
13:00 - Closing of the Run
It is recommended to arrive at 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Ipodrom, 1 hour before the start of your distance in order to have time to change clothes, leave your belongings in the cloakroom, warm up, and find the starting corridor.
Participants who are taking part in the run online and are not arriving at the run venue can complete the distance at any time.
6. Conditions for admission to the run.
The starter pack will be issued upon presentation of the following documents when receiving the participant's starter pack:
- Identity document confirming the participant's age (mandatory for all participants except those under 14 years of age);
- Printout or digital display of the confirmation letter of registration in the Run.
For participants aged 14 and under, it is also mandatory to have the consent of parents (legal representatives) for the participation of a minor in the Run, which can be provided when receiving the participant's package by signing the appropriate form.
The decision to admit a minor participant to the 3.2 km and 1.6 km runs is made by the run organizers at the time of issuing the starter pack.
Participants are admitted to the run venue upon presentation of the corresponding participant number attached to them.
All registered participants are solely responsible for their own life and health during the Run.
Admission to participate in the online format is granted after receiving confirmation of registration by the participant, but not earlier than July 25, 2024.
7. Emergency situation during the Run.
In the event of a warning from the State Emergency Service in the region where the Run is held, on the eve of the event or on the day of the event, about a possible significant deterioration in weather conditions or the occurrence of complex weather phenomena (including but not limited to: earthquake, flood, hurricane, hail, cyclone, storm, lightning, other natural disasters) that threaten the life and health of people, the Run Organizer reserves the right, at its discretion, to take measures to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, fans, and everyone who is directly or indirectly involved in the Run.
The Organizing Committee of the event has developed an internal safety scale, according to which, in the event of adverse weather conditions, the Organizing Committee will act in accordance with an agreed plan and require all participants to strictly comply with its requirements, namely:
- First level of danger - wind with a force of 7-9 meters per second - dismantling of inflatable arches, light structures (including kilometer markers), light tents, promo and photo zones.
- Second level of danger - wind speed of 9.5-10 meters per second - dismantling of all tents, photo zones, as well as dismantling of the crossbar of the start-finish arch.
The Organizing Committee will ask to remove anything that may pose a danger. There is a high probability of cancellation of charity Run.
The decision to hold or cancel them will be made immediately before the start of the Run based on the actual weather conditions at that time. - The third level of danger - wind speeds of 11 meters per second or more - will result in a decision to hold or cancel the event.

8. Safety plan and procedure in case of an air raid alert
Safety plan for event participants to minimize risks during the event:
In the event of an air raid alert in Kyiv, the run will be suspended (changes to the start schedule are possible). The continuation of the run will be announced after the air raid alert is canceled (but in any case only during daylight hours).
After an air raid alert is declared in Kyiv, all participants must proceed to the appropriate bomb shelters:
- Underground passage from the Ipodrom metro station to the Ipodrom territory;
Trained volunteers and coordinators will monitor all participants and visitors during the event;
Announcers, hosts, and volunteers will inform all participants verbally or via loudspeaker about the rules of conduct and actions in case of an air raid alert, as well as the location of the nearest bomb shelter;
Information signs with maps and locations of shelters and ways to reach them within 10 minutes of the sirens sounding will be posted at the event locations;
Event coordinators and volunteers will divide participants into groups and accompany all participants to the bomb shelters;
This plan, along with a map of the nearest shelters, will be provided to each participant along with their starter pack.
9. Routes and track.
The routes for the 3.2 km, 1.6 km, and 420 m distances are posted on the Run banners.
The start and finish are in the same place.
10. Registration for the run and receipt of the starter pack.
Participants are admitted to the run provided they have registered for the run properly and in a timely manner.
Online registration for participants is open from July 8, 2025, to July 25, 2024 (subject to availability) on the Run organizer's website.
There will be no registration on the day of the Run.
The Run organizer has the right to suspend or completely close registration without notice if the participant limit is reached.
Participant limits:
- 3.2 km distance - 50 participants
- 1.6 km distance - 50 participants
- 420 m distance - 40 participants
A participant is considered registered if they have completed the application form and paid the fee.
11. Entry fee for individual registrations.
The entry fee for each distance in online or offline format is UAH 1000.
The entry fee does not include the commission for the transfer of funds.
Participants in the Run pay the entry fee by electronic payment on the organizer's website when registering for participation in the Run.
The entry fee is a charitable contribution towards the goal of the Run – to raise funds for the purchase of fuel and lubricants for the 32nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
12. Starter packs and how to get them.
The distribution of starter packs for participants taking part offline will take place on July 24-25, 2025, at a location to be announced later.
The participant's “starter pack” includes:
- Participant's start number;
- Route map;
- Safety plan;
- Partner offers;
- Pins for attaching the participant's personalized start number;
During and after the run, the participant's “starter pack” at the run venue includes:
- Finisher's medal (if the distance is completed; provided/sent after completing the distance and confirming the result);
- Finisher's package: apple/banana, water;
- Use of changing rooms and lockers;
- Refreshment point at the finish line;
- Hydration points;
- Musical support on the track.
12.1. Delivery of the starter pack in Ukraine.
The starter pack can be received in Ukraine upon registration no later than one week before the date of the Run or within one week after registration (in case of registration after the date of the Run) by delivery via Nova Poshta.
Delivery is arranged automatically during registration. The cost of delivery of the starter pack is paid by the participant in accordance with the carrier's rates.
12.2. International delivery of the starter pack.
International delivery of the starter pack is possible upon registration no later than two weeks before the date of the run or within 30 days after registration (in case of registration after the date of the Run).

13. Food and hydration stations.
Food and hydration stations are located in the central part of the Hippodrome. Water, food, and volunteer assistance are available at the food and hydration stations.
14. Online run participants.
Participants who take part in the Run online and do not arrive at the Run venue can run the corresponding Run distance anywhere and on any day, but not earlier than the date of the Run.

To receive a finisher's medal, such participants shall send a screenshot of the result of running the corresponding distance in any of the applications for recording running results to the organizer's email address. Such a letter shall also indicate the delivery address for the finisher's medal (by delivery via Nova Poshta).
The finisher's medal will be sent to such participants within 30 calendar days after the organizer receives confirmation of the Run results, to the address specified in the letter.
15. Awarding of winners.
In the 3.2 km and 1.6 km distances, the first three participants in each gender category who were the first to complete the corresponding distance in which they participated will be awarded.
In the 420 m distance, the first three participants in the “Absolute” category who were the first to complete the corresponding distance in which they participated will be awarded.
Such participants will receive commemorative gifts.
