Information and regulations:

"Sich Brotherhood 2025" is a charity race of 3.2 km.; 1.6 km.; 420 m. in support of the 32nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and projects of the Ukrainian Cossacks, a conference in support of equestrian sports and a concert entertainment program with the participation of people's artists of Ukraine and young talents.

You have a unique opportunity to combine active recreation, sports achievements and rewards with the civic duty of helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Take part in the preservation and revival of Ukrainian national values, as well as enjoy the professional performance of Ukrainian songs.

The event will take place according to the following regulations:

  • 16:00 – 17:00 Conference in support of equestrian sports in Ukraine
  • 17:00 – 19:00 Charity race in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cossacks
  • 19:30 – 20:30 Concert program with the participation of people's artists of Ukraine

Start and finish location: Kyiv, Akademika Glushkova Ave., 10, Hippodrome - central part.

2. Goal of the Race: to collect 200,000 UAH. for charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (32nd Brigade) in July 2025. and ethnographic project "Cossack Outpost at the Hippodrome"

Prize fund of winners from the organizer and partners:

  • First place for distances 3.2 and 1.6 km. (male/female): Painting by a famous Ukrainian artist (canvas, oil)
  • Second place for distances 3.2 and 1.6 km. (male/female): Memorable valuable souvenir
  • Third place for distances 3.2 and 1.6 km (male/female): Gift from partners.
  • Children's distance 420 m. 1,2,3 place - valuable gifts from the organizer and partners (without gender division).

The “Sich Brotherhood 2025” race (hereinafter referred to as the Race) is held with the aim of raising a charitable fund, 50% of the proceeds of which will go to help the 32nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (for the purchase of fuel and lubricants and repair of equipment), and 50% to develop Cossack projects (“Cossack Outpost at the Hippodrome”). 50% of the collected proceeds will be distributed to the 32nd Brigade even if the desired financial result is not achieved, or if the desired amount is exceeded. The organizers, with the consent of the donors, reserve the right to redistribute 50% of the donation collection to other projects, in accordance with the statutory activities of the “Cossack” Charity Fund. The donation amount is not refundable.

We also aim to:

  • promote and advocate a healthy lifestyle and the development of mass recreational sports;
  • popularize charitable events in support of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the revival of the Ukrainian Cossacks.

3. Race Organizer.

  • The Race Organizer is the charitable organization “Charity Fund “Kozatsky”, EDRPOU code 44828651.
  • The Organizing Committee of the Race is the members of the BO “CF “Kozatsky”.

4. Race Conditions.

The race begins under the legal regime of martial law. In the event of an “Air Alert” signal being announced at the start of any of the Race distances, the organizers may stop the race until the danger is over.

5. Participation and starting charitable contribution for individual registrations.

The cost of the starting contribution for each of the distances is

  • 1000 UAH. (until 07/22/2025 inclusive);
  • 1500 UAH. (from 07/23 to 07/25/2025);
  • military personnel with UBD – preferential conditions – 1 UAH. Confirmation of the benefits is the provision of a UBD certificate upon receipt of the starting package.

The cost of the starting fee does not include a commission for transferring funds.

Payment of the starting fee by the participants of the Race is made by electronic payment on the organizer’s website when registering for participation in the Race.

The starting fee is a charitable contribution to achieve the goal of the Race – raising funds to help the 32nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the implementation of the “Cossack Outpost at the Hippodrome” project.

6. Race Program July 26, 2025.

Starting packages will be issued on the day of the competition at the address: Kyiv, 10 Glushkova St., Hippodrome from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, but no later than 30 minutes before the start of the race (see race schedule).

  • 3:00 PM – Opening of the Race venue, 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Hippodrome
  • 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM – Locker rooms work
  • 5:00 PM – introductory speech by the organizer and partners

Distance 3.2 km.

  • 17:20 – Movement of participants to the 3.2 km distance
  • 17:25 – Opening of the starting corridor for the 3.2 km distance
  • 17:30 – Start at the 3.2 km distance
  • 18:10 – Awarding of the winners at the 3.2 km distance

Distance 1.6 km.

  • 18:15 – Movement of participants to the 1.6 km distance
  • 18:20 – Opening of the starting corridor for the 1.6 km distance
  • 18:25 – Start at the 1.6 km distance
  • 19:00 – Awarding of the winners at the 1.6 km distance

Distance 420 m. (children's race)

  • 19:05 – Movement of participants to the 420 m distance
  • 19:10 – Opening of the starting corridor for the 420 m distance
  • 19:15 – Start at the 420 m distance.
  • 19:30 – Awarding of winners at the 420 m distance, closing of the Race

*It is recommended to arrive at 10 Akademika Glushkova Ave., Hippodrome to participate in the race 1 hour before the start of your distance in order to have time to receive a starting package, change clothes, leave your belongings in the locker room, warm up and find the starting corridor.

7. Conditions of admission to the Race.

The starting package is issued upon receipt of the documents provided when receiving the participant's starting package:

  • Identity card confirming the participant's age (mandatory for all participants, except for participants of the race under 14 years of age);
  • A printout or digital demonstration of the confirmation letter of registration in the Race.

For participants under the age of 14 inclusive, it is additionally and mandatory to have the Consent of parents (legal representatives) for the participation of a minor participant in the Race, which can be provided upon receipt of the participant's package by signing the appropriate form.

The decision to admit a minor participant to the Race at a distance of 3.2 km and 1.6 km is made by the Race organizer at the time of issuing the starting package.

Participants are admitted to the Race venue if they have the corresponding participant number attached to it.

All registered participants are independently responsible for their own life and health during the Race.

8. Registration for the Race.

Participants are admitted to the Race subject to proper and timely registration for the Race.

Electronic registration of participants is open until 07/25/2024 (subject to availability of free seats) on the Race organizer's website.

Registration on the day of the Race will not be held.

The Race Organizer has the right to suspend or completely close registration without notice if the limit of participants is reached.

Participant limits:

  • at a distance of 3.2 km - 100 participants
  • at a distance of 1.6 km - 100 participants
  • at a distance of 420 m (children's race) - 40 participants

A participant is considered registered if he has filled out the application and paid the fee.

9. Starting packages and receipt procedure.

The issuance of starting packages for participating participants will be held on July 26, 2025, at the race venue.

The participant's "starting package" includes:

  • Participant's starting number;
  • Route map;
  • Safety plan;
  • Partner offers;
  • Pins for fixing the participant's personal starting number;

Upon completion of the distance, the "starting package" of the participant participating at the Race venue also includes:

  • Finisher's medal subject to completion of the distance; provided / sent after completing the distance and confirming the result;
  • Participant's certificate; provided / sent after completing the distance;
  • Finisher's package: participant's business card (with discounts) with a personal number, apple / banana, sparkling water;
  • Use of locker rooms and locker rooms;
  • Hydration and food point at the finish (additional still water, sandwich);
  • Additional celebration after the race (barbecue, wine and concert program).

9.1. Delivery of the “starting package” across Ukraine.

Receiving the Starting Package across Ukraine is possible upon registration no later than a week before the Race date or within one week after registration, by delivery by Nova Poshta.

Delivery is automatically arranged during registration. The cost of delivering the starting package is paid by the participant in accordance with the carrier’s tariffs.

10. Routes and track.

The route routes for the distances of 3.2 km, 1.6 km, and 420 m (children’s race) are posted on the Race banners.

The start and finish are held in one place.

11. Emergency situation during the Race.

The Race Organizer reserves the right to take measures at its own discretion to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, fans and all those who take direct or indirect part.

The Organizing Committee of the event has developed an internal safety scale, according to which, in the event of adverse conditions, the Organizing Committee will act according to the agreed plan and require all participants to strictly comply with its requirements.

Safety plan and procedure in the event of an air raid warning:

  • In the event of an air raid warning in the city of Kyiv, the Race may be suspended (changes may be made to the start schedule). The continuation of the Race will be announced after the air raid warning is canceled (but in any case only during daylight hours).
  • After the air raid warning in the city of Kyiv, all participants must go to the appropriate bomb shelters: Underground passage from the Ipodrom metro station to the Ipodrom territory;
  • Instructed announcers, volunteers and coordinators will contribute to the successful conduct of the event, informing about the rules of conduct and actions in the event of an air alarm;
  • Additionally, an action plan along with a map of the nearest shelters will be provided to each participant along with the participant’s “starting package”.

12. Hydration and nutrition point.

The hydration and nutrition point is located in the central part of the Hippodrome. Water, food, and volunteer assistance are available at the hydration and nutrition point.

13. Awarding of winners and celebration.

Participants receive valuable commemorative gifts from the organizer:

  • At the 3.2 km and 1.6 km distances, the first three participants in each “Gender” category (three women and three men for each distance) who were the first to overcome the corresponding distance in which they participated will be awarded.
  • At distances of 420 m, the first three participants in the "Absolute" category who were the first to overcome the corresponding distance (regardless of gender) in which they participated will be awarded.

*After the race, interested participants will be invited to a festive table and a concert program from the organizers and partners of the event.
